THE reach of Case IH dealership Intersales has increased with an expansion to cover much of the Riverina.

Intersales now has a presence in Temora, Wagga, Albury, Griffith and Leeton areas.

According to major shareholder Peter Heinrich, the business had been looking at its options for expansion for some time.

"This is an exciting opportunity for our organisation and our staff as we use our expanded dealership footprint to enhance our product, parts and service offering for the benefit of customers into the future," Peter said.

"We are proud of the quality of our staff and we put a lot of money into training to get this right, including bringing enough apprentices through the company to ensure that skill and experience is always there."

Intersales began trading in Temora as LA Sales in the early 1950s, selling and servicing International Harvester machinery and International Trucks. In the 1970s the business moved to its current location in Hoskins Street and changed its name to Intersales.

The Leeton branch was purchased in 2001 and relocated to larger premises on Vance Road in 2003, offering sales, parts and servicing.

The business expanded again in 2011 with the relocation of its header service bay to Hakea Street, Temora.

Today the Intersales team offers a wide range of agricultural and construction machinery to suit the needs of the modern family farm, with trained service staff and a huge variety of parts on site. Intersales has a fleet of dedicated service vehicles and prides itself on its outstanding customer service reputation and availability.

Intersales has been a provider of mine maintenance support specialising in mill relining since 1983 and has a dedicated truck, loaded with all the tools required for successful completion of a mill reline, on stand-by 24/7.

In 2018 Intersales expanded and consolidated its fabrication, manufacturing and machining arm of the business with the purchase of Cleverdon's Steel Constructions on Goldfields Way, Temora. Intersales Comb trailers, which have been manufactured since 1996, has moved to the new location and silos have been added to their extensive range of products.

The further expansion to Albury in the south and Griffith in the west cements Intersales as a pivotal agricultural machinery presence.

Pete McCann, general manager for Case IH Australia and New Zealand, congratulated Intersales on its growth.

"This is great news for the Case IH brand and reinforces the strength of our whole dealer structure," he said.

"Customers can be assured they'll enjoy all the benefits that come from an expanded dealership network with access to more resources and technical expertise."
